Peanut Butter Cake & Frosting

Cake:

1/2 cup margarine
1 1/3 cups sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Salt
1 cup milk

Cream sugar and margarine; add peanut butter, vanilla and eggs. Add flour, baking powder and salt alternately with milk. Pour into two greased & floured 9″ round pans. Bake at 350 for approximately 25-30 minutes. (clean toothpick in center of cake test for doneness) Cool. Frost with peanut butter frosting.

Peanut Butter Frosting:

1/4 cup margarine
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/2 tsp. Salt
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
3 tbsp. Milk

Cream margarine. Blend in peanut butter, vanilla and salt. Add powdered sugar alternately with milk, beating until light and fluffy.
